WELCOME

Welcome to the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of the Executive Women’s Golf Association (EWGA) and welcome to our new 2012 Website!

The San Francisco Bay Area Chapter consists of over 110 members from all over the Bay Area, from San Francisco down to Carmel and from the Eastbay to the Peninsula.

We offer a wide range of events all over the Bay Area for women, for the beginning golfer, the experienced competitor and those in between. For those just starting out or short of time, we offer 9 hole events. For those who want to meet others in a social environment, we offer 18 hole events. And, for those who would like to compete, we offer traveling match play leagues, NCGA Associate Club events and competition leading to the EWGA National Events. Along with our golf clinics and business networking events, there is something for everyone.

EWGA is about fun, friendship, opportunities to play golf and skill development. We hope that both renewing members, and new ones, will take full advantage of all that EWGA has to offer. Guests are welcome. Come check us out!

This 4-week educational series covers both short game and long game skills.

Niners, Deep Cliff, Saturday, May 19
Join us at a wonderful South Bay course for a fun day of golf. Participants can sign up for an optional free clinic before the round.

EWGA Chapter Championship, Crystal Springs, Saturday, June 23

The Deep Cliff Women's Summer Evening Golf League which runs March 12 through October 31, is an opportunity for women of all playing abilities to enjoy the game of golf. This is a fun way to meet other players or enjoy a round with friends. All this for a membership fee of $25.00 and green fees of $ 17.00 for nine holes. Events are low key and designed to help you wind down from the hectic pace of the Silicon Valley.

Don't miss complimentary appetizers following each day's play. This is a great chance to socialize and network with others.

Join us Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday between 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Call the golf shop in advance to book tee time or show up and we'll pair you up with someone.

Note: Aside from the Women's Summer Evening League, Deep Cliff is also home to a Morning Women's League that plays 18 holes. Choose from the Monday group at 8:30 am, the Tuesday group that plays at 7:30 am or the Thursday group that starts at 8:15 am. Each group plays once a week year round. Added EWGA Benefit: Each time a member plays at Deep Cliff, she can enter her name for a special raffle for EWGA members only. A monthly drawing will be held and the winner will receive one round of golf at Deep Cliff any day of the week.
